They make fantastic pets - really lovely gentle creatures with great natures, and a fantastic level of intelligence. I've been keeping them on and off since 1999, and have been breeding since 2006, and I can't imagine them not being part of my life now. Each one is so individual - all have such intricate personalities that you can't possibly get them confused with each other! People often ask how I know which one's which, how I remember them all, how I can tell them apart... to me that's kind of like asking someone with 20 kids how they can do allthose things, because they mean so much to you, and you're so close them!

I can't tell people enough just what great pets they are - they realy are wonderful!

Great Pictures. Rats are fantastic pets. One of my females use to open her cage up and night (no matter how i tried to lock it) climb up onto the sofa and play then she'd put herself back to bed. The only whay i'd know she was out was an open cage and sometimes a toy she'd brought with her.

They are absolutely gorgeous! I'd love a pet rat! I couldn't trust my cats with one though.:)

They are all gorgeous! I'm particularly taken by Willie the British Blue Agouti though. I miss my rats - my last one died a year ago and we are now overrun with gerbils and mice so I'm on a strict one out, one in regime...

Interceptor, you're a member of our forum aren't you IIRC? I do breed for sale as well, I couldn't keep this many ratties but mainly with an eye to the show bench. I don't show nearly as much as I'd like, as it's not easy gettingthem to and from Britain in sufficient number atm - but that's OK

They're all pets first and foremost - and any sold are pet only contract as well, unless I know the breeder quite well, in which case we discuss things at length about the breeding plans and which lines gel well with ours etc etc. I think there's only a small handful of breeders who we work with at the moment!

I am currently looking to give a loving home to 2 male kittens. I have visited a few pet shops in the area, done some research, and to be honest am not really very impressed by what I've seen. I've got the cage, just waiting for the right little guys to make it their home.

So, have decided it would be best if i tried to locate 2 babies from a reputable breeder!! Would anyone know if there are any current litters from a well to do breeder?
I'm based in kildare but will travel!

Any information would be helpful, cheers!
