It's definitely my favourite game of all time, it's brilliant!! Even the original Half Life is fun to play, but nowhere in the same league as HL2. Get Episode One and Two if you haven't got them as well (you probably have the Orange Box though, which includes them).

Really? The anniversary edition of Halo: CE? It's just an engine update, they're not even changing the design of any of the levels afaik, which is a joke considering the horrible level that is "The Library"

Now i like Halo as much as everyone else, but i can't justify paying for that.

But i've already played Halo:CE, i don't really care about graphics tbh. I still play games from the 90's that are my favourites.

I wish they'd do like what was done with Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Level design and game mechanics different from the original. Some similar levels obviously, but it was changed enough that people who played the original (like me) were still challenged enough by some of the puzzles in it.

Finished Gears 3 campaign there yesterday, amazing. Still have Horde and Beast mode to get through, the multiplayer is great too.
