Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi. Im just after getting a new Dell Inspiron 1564. My wireless connection however seems very slow. For example im currently downloading AVG and its telling me it will take 32 minutes?

Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

I assume you have line of sight to your router and that no other machines are doing heavy downloading?

First, you need to see if this is a problem with your laptop or your wireless router.

Run a speed test using your laptop and some other wireless device @ http://www.speedtest.net/

You could also try comparing the results of the test vs. laptop connected via ethernat cable to the router and see if there is a (significant) difference.
