Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What do people think of these pickups?
I played them the richie blackmore strat and they were the only thing i liked on that guitar but thing is i'm more of a humbucker guy. I do have a squier tele which i want to change the bridge pickup on and I have thought of one of these a possibility but might lose twang. Also I am planning buying a fender strat over summer and might change the bridge pup on that too and the same thing as the tele does it lose it's single coil sound. I wanna hear what the die hard single coil fans think of these too, just curious.

    strat

    tele

Haven't tried them, but Bareknuckles would eat Duncans. Also Lindy Fralins are another excellent option for Strats.

Probably not a help on your direct question.:)

I think your thinking of a burstbucker. Bare Knuckle are a handwired pickup company in England, their pickups are quite highly regarded.

I tried the bass ones and theyre good. It doesnt look like it'll sit well with other standard pups though, its high output.

Bareknuckle pickups, handwound in the UK and Lindy Fralins. Top 2 choices for pickups these days.
