Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I've heard fillet steak works.

Why do you need a substitute? Cost? Irritation?

I guess you could use any kind of skin cream, e.g. sudocream, but chamois cream is chamois cream, it's made for the purpose.

+1 for Sudocream, though chamois cream is better.

E45 Cream. 1 litre pump dispenser is great value for money for use as a chamois cream. Sudocrem stains does it not?

This stuff is amazing I used use it when I started doing sportives it works for anything skin related, ass, toes, bites and its THE best after sun I have ever come across, turns red to brown. Not cheap at nearly a tenner a bottle (often found in sales though) but is worth every penny.

Although my mayonnaise fantasies were much better before they were contaminated with hairy cyclist's arses.
    Thanks for that.

I shave my arse, if that helps your mayonnaise fantasies.

I use a Sudocream & Vaseline mixed together. No need for large amounts and cost way cheaper than any chamois cream.

I would rather not answer that on the grounds that I might incriminate myself.

Pure silk is as good as any cream. See here

Don't be stingy with the talcum powder either.
