That would have been me :p

EDIT: Definitely learn what MEMS means, I'd say learn the basics on how the piezo, the electromechanical, and the hot-gas accelerometers work. And learn a couple of applications of accelerometers - air bag sensors in cars, iPhones, Wii remotes etc.

Just know 3 uses of it i.e. labtop wiimote car airbags
describe the piezoelectric and mems accelerators
and finally that it can meaure tilt rotation linear acceleration vibration and shock
    I think thats all
Im doing the welding plastics thermal equilibrium and mechanisms questions hope there ok cos my project was crap

    thanks lads !

    ill learn all that then!:)

yeh i gotta do this fairly well my project was a bit ****e....the trolley shot across the top of the ganty a bit to fast...even wit a resistor!

You're lucky... my teacher ran out of gears so mine didn't even work even though all my circuits were perfect

ya'd really wonder about some of these engineering teachers..

made a balls of my wiring ..melted the plastic on the motor casing and broke the metal conectors off:cool::cool::cool:....still it worked ..kinda
