Child Car Seat laws - Florida

    We are travelling to Florida this summer. We will have two girls aged 9 & 7 ...average height & weight for their ages.

    What might we have to provide in terms of booster seats to meet Florida safety laws?

    I don't think you need a car seat for children that age. My nephew just turned 7, and he hasn't had to ride in a car seat for a few years.
    The law does require that everyone in the car wear a safety belt. Click it or ticket, as they say.

    no child restraints needed past age 5 in Florida- other than seatbelt.
