The exam results tab is back but there's nothing there.

Edit: Anxiety Attack! What are they trying to do to my nerves today....

@Duddy- none of my results are there. Probably better 1st year ones aren't there, bit of shambles.

Wouldn't surprise me tbh.

Look at today: No exam results, then Exam tab goes up, then goes down, then official examination results tab is taken away and we're left with registration details for the afternoon, then when they put the examinations tab back up, they've seemingly wiped all of our results.

The Results have been there for sometime now. From what I'm told staff have to submit them online via an overly complicated and secure system which can only be accessed from there office computers.

.... Or so the legend goes.

Also Student Web Services is still very much in the Computer Centre, just housed in a better server room.

And the past exam results haven't gone too far,
All that data is well backed up and stored.

Hmm, sounds like the system they have over in UCD.

What I meant was, they're just sitting there with no reason they shouldn't be given to us becuase the exam board surely must have finished meeting. But I take your point

I know that the Computer Centre has been doing some up grading recently, like a brand new server room.

All the data and information is safe (And its backups and copies of back ups are in fire proof safes).

I know its bad left waiting like this. I'm ticked off too.
But, we should just chill for one second.

The thing about waiting for results is that it can mean waiting to decide what masters you're going to do, whether you can take a year out and start planning for that, if you need to take time off work or come back from abroad to repeat, if you need to save to repeat the year, worst case scenarios etc etc.

So it's only natural everyone's a bit angsty about it, and some people cope better with their angst than others.
