    Are you infected with it?

This virus will emerge with the carrier's dna and unfortunately science doesn't have a cure for it So it will stay inside you during your life time. There are many types of this virus some can cause cancer some can only appear on your genitals like wrats. The only way to remove them is to burn them by an electrical clinical instrument but this will not cure you cause this virus stays dormant in your body and you never know when the wrats might appear again. . So be aware you sexually active people even condoms can't protect you from this sht.

There is a vaccine as i heard but its for women only i'm not sure .

So do you know about this virus?

Note: it's nothing to be afraid of it won't kill you but it's a Damn sexually transmited thing it's annoying.

Naturally any sexually active people should exercise due caution when having intercourse with their partners. HPV is only one on a long list of sexually transmitted diseases however- and while genital warts or other manifestations of the virus may seem like the end of the world to some people- its not HIV- and there are worse sexually transmitted diseases out there too. Surely the moral of the story should be to use proper precautions when having sex?

The HPV vaccine you're talking about is the cervical cancer vaccine that has been in the headlines. The current vaccination programme is focused on first year girls entering secondary school, and is to start up in September (its been available from some GPs since February of this year).

There are international campaigns to immunise boys against HPV also- particularly in light of increased incidences in the developed world in head and neck cancers (source).

If you're sexually active- you *need* to take proper precautions to protect yourself.

Hpv is the most common in usa and lately i'm hearing lots of talk shows about it here in lebanon but as usual there must be a greedy company behind the talk shows cos the vaccine costs $400. as usual another door to monopoly a profitable situation.
