Hi there, can anybody recommend a good campsite or even resort in France that can reconcile or bridge these two sets of requirements:
Son (14): pool, preferably with water slide, games room/teen activities, must have other teens who speak English, larking around, active, cool, good food.
Parents: would prefer small, authentic, friendly, alternative, good food, friendly bar, able to meet other people, restaurant with local food, nature, maybe village or town walking distance to escape. Can only stand so much hi de hi. Don't like chi-chi either.
Went to St. Avit Loisirs campsite in Dordogne few years ago - son and friend loved, we hated.
We would be OK with Vendée (were considering Ile de Re?), or maybe Languedoc Roussillon coast???
    Help much appreciated!!!
