    Hey All,

Has anyone been on a good introductory astronomy course in Dublin? Is there any alternative to Astronomy Ireland's course?

I am a total beginner but looking for something that goes into reasonable depth about the science behind everything.

    Cheers :)

Adult Ed in UCD do one. Details of the one just finished are here: http://www.ucd.ie/adulted/courses/an229.htm
They'll release the autumn classes nearer the end of the summer break (late August most likely), but the details will be pretty much the same I'm sure. I did it a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.

I'd love to do a degree in physics. :D

Hey all thanks a mill for the info. The Open Uni one sounds interesting cause I could do it at home but id be afraid I wouldnt get it and then couldn't get help from lecturers etc.

UCD will most likely be the one I go for.

Thanks again im really looking forward to it :D ... I know im sad!
