I noticed today that I have a bit of a backlog of games building up. In the backlog is:

What have you yet to get around to play?

Way too many! These are games I'm currently playing through, often at the speed of an hour or two a month:

Final Fantasy XIII - felt relief when I finally got a Chocobo, haven't been back since :pac: Will probably finish it at some point.

Yakuza 3 - 30 hours in, still playing quite regularly. One of those games that seem never ending.

Little King's Story - still in plastic packaging. At this rate, should get around to it sometime in 2013.

Monster Hunter Tri - only around six hours in. I quite like it, but I know there's a significant time (and grind) investment so it's on the backburner for a while.

Valkyria Chronicles - don't know why I started this when I have so many others ongoing, but I absolutely love it. A very high likelihood I'll play a lot of this.

Disgaea / Disgaea 3 - have played around 25 hours of the former, around 1 of the latter! First is portable, so I'll get around to that. Saving the third for sometime when the backlog is clear.

Half-Minute Hero - really should get back to that.

Jeanne D'Arc, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest IV / VIII - all games I was greatly enjoying, but drifted out of rotation for some reason. Should get back into CT in particular.

I've never even booted it up! The only reason I have it is because of The Orange Box. Steam keeps updating it, but I've yet to actually launch the game

It's the same for Ep1+2; I'm about half way through my 4th play through of HL2 (last played Feb. 18) as I thought I'd play that again before I started in on the episodes.

I've a fairly big backlog mainly because of me getting into World of Warcraft a few months back as well as BFBC2's online play being addictive.

Some of which are:

and a bunch of others

I've been making an effort to clear the backlog as i finished Yakuza 3 two weeks ago and went back and finished Just Cause 2.

I just bought Red Dead Redemption so thats going to create a bigger backlog.

I'm an idiot when it comes to impulse buying. I've not even removed the plastic wrapping on some of these, whereas one or two others have seen maybe an hour's playtime (all on PC btw);

Most are unfinished rather than backlog. These are all the games I intend to finish.

C&C Generals & Zero Hour Recently completed

1. C&C 3 (about two missions done)
2. Age of Mythology (about halfway through, but I'll probably restart)
   
3. Morrowind (200 hours out of... 1000?)
4. Oblivion end of main quest and a few side ones
5. Fallout 3 expansions
6. Deus Ex (haven't bought)

   (Bought these two ^^ in the steam sale and that's as far as it went)

I don't really do backlogs any more, especially since I started renting most of my games instead of buying.
I'll keep a game until I feel satisfied with what I've gotten out of it so far, but can't see myself wringing any more entertainment out of it, then stick it in the post never to be seen again. If I want to play through it again, I'll stick it back on my rental list.
