Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just signed up to do the Munich Marathon in October. Has anyone done this before or heard any reports?

Never done it, but I lived there for a while. It's a lovely city and looking at the route, it looks very nice from a spectating point of view. Also, finishing on the Olympic stadium track is a nice touch as well. Would love to do it, some year, I'm not doing Dublin.

Am tempted by this one, but does anybody which direction the course runs. The course map on the website is a bit rubbish

If you hover your mouse over the elevation graph, you can see what direction it runs in.

Looks like industrial estate between 22 and 27km, but otherwise should be good. Pretty flat as well, and the Germans do live up to their stereotype of efficiency in organising any marathon I've run there.

Would be nice to add the Munich Olympic track to my collection (only have Athens and Amsterdam so far).

That's the area around the "Ostbahnhof" (East train station) - fairly bland and uninteresting office land. I used to work in that area.
