Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What has Crouch got, like, 21 goals in 19 games? Furthermore he is just as good as Heskey is when it comes to bringing others into the game. So Crouch can do Heskey's job, but you know, actually score goals as well. Yet Heskey gets the nod a head of him. Amazing really.

COME ONE ENGLAND. Can not wait for the kick off, few Bulmers in hand and ready for the off. Bring on the Yanks

What are the odds on heskey to score first/any time? :D

I'd say Theo Walcott has a better chance of scoring than Heskey.

    1 billion to one

A team that has notions of winning the World Cup should not have players like Green and Heskey in their first XI in my opinion.

It will be fascinating to see how Gerrard and Lampard get on in midfield together.

Hardly their fault, but Green is the best English keeper.

Don't worry we should have plenty of antics as the only England goalkeeper to ever be sent off is playing.

Is that not a bit simplistic?

Hope to see José Torres at some stage. He's a highly rated player but I haven't had a chance to see him play. Looking forward to some sort of appearance tonight.

Come on England. I don't believe this is going to be as tight as people expect it to be. 3-0 England methinks.

Just put 100 euro on a Heskey hattrick, 90/1.

Really looking forward to this game.
Happy to see Green get the vote of confidence, but I'd have picked Hart if I were in charge.

Now, I just have to pray that Rooney doesn't get injured!

Green is average IMO, James is still error prone, even more so on the big stage, Hart is unproven.
    It will be England's downfall.

The only reason I want England to lose is for what Dunphy and co. will have to say afterwards.
