Ohhh, today will be the biggest day for this thread .. France are playing tonight ;)

The "Hand Of God" will be crop also in an hour or so, as Argentina are playing then.

I'd just like to say at this point, that Maradonna was the greatest football player of all time, all time!

    TBH I don't mind them.

I find it odd that the people using them would never get tired of using them after 2 minutes let alone 90!

I wish Argentina had a tougher match. I'm dying to see Maradona completely flip out. Crazy mofo!

RTÉ is definitely better than the British crap.

RTE is better when it has its first team playing(Billo, Eamo, Gilesy & chippy), but when the reserves come out (Ronnie Whelan, Trevor Steven, Cunny Keningham, Ray Houghton) it is pants

That's what I heard too. He was a big fan of take-away food back when he was an apprentice at Arsenal.

Me too, and I don't even have it. Like imagine doing that for 3 mins, you'd get pissed off.

Yeah we're just messing. The real reason is because Brady once lobbed Seaman from the halfway line in an Arsenal legends charity game.

    I just looked it up!
While at Arsenal, he was nicknamed "Chippy", not for his ability to chip the ball but for his fondness for fish and chips.
    :)

    Totally.

I think people are just getting used to it though.

Watch this and just listen to what World Cup crowds should sound like without that constant fcuking noise.
