sky player rte?

i can get sky player on my xbox here in canada since i brought it over with me.. the thing is canadian wc coverage is super**** and i was wondering if you can access rte or bbc on the skyplayer? and if so whats the best deal to do..

Sky player wont work outside UK and Ireland. Besides, sky don't have the rights to any World Cup games. Have you tried the RTE website, they're streaming every game and I think it can be accessed abroad.

EDIT: Just saw on the website that you cant access RTE online outside Europe.

i can get sky news on the skyplayer thing so its working for me.. all my prices are in euro so it still thinks its in ireland.. so just wondering can ye get rte on skyplayer

Yeah the reason sky player still works for you is (i suspect) the viewing card it is using is in Ireland? But alas no rte cant be accessed on sky player which would be ideal for me

Unless things have changed recently I doubt that's the case. I tried to access it last year when I was in the States on holiday and it wouldn't let me.
