    Hey guys,

    Looking for some people who are on social welfare want to sit either
    • EC Council Certified Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing
    • Cissp Kick Off (Aug/Sept 10)

    The courses are fun by bt learning Click here

    The courses will be funded by the social welfare through the TESG grant.

    But i need 6 people to run the course.

    Its a shame i'm employed :P or I would love to do this course. Any chance their is a low cost option for someone who is employed but who cant get their job to pay for the training costs.

    Hi Leon,

    I didn't know anything about the TESG (The Technical Employment Support Grant) until I read this post.

    I was interested in doing a VMware course but when I enquired in my local FAS office I was told that the TESG fund had been cut from €2,500 to €1,000 (FAS & Social Welfare fund €500 each).

    Do you know if this is accurate because I actually thought that the TESG was funded by the EU as part of the Lisbon strategy which is in place to create growth and jobs over the period 2008-2010. But when I mentioned this I was fobbed off again with 'budget cuts', etc.
