Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surely more goals in this for Argentina. Nigeria are completely standing off them.

AGGRRHH Samuel should have buried that header

that shot of Veron chatting with Diego was great.

"it's a World Cup gaffer, we're one up"

"oh thanks, raspberry toilet monkey couch"

Diego looks lovely in his Communion suite.

The fact that Nigeria seem to be struggling with a fairly energetic Argentina side leads me to believe they'll also struggle with South Korea.

Argentina and SK to progress from this group, with little problem.

cant see argentina coping with a good strike force and wingers with this set up

Diego's too fat for a suit, he needs a suite.

The amount of turf that came up when he slid in to try get the ball. I wonder what the pitch is like.

Lennon would have a field day against this Argentina side although it would be a nightmare for king and Terry

Against a better team with a tactically astute manager, Jonas will get murdered.

Though I reckon he'll go with the fourth centre back at RB against the bigger teams. Which may or may not be any better.

Mick has verbally slapped down Jonathon Pearce a couple of times

Pearce going on about Nigeria's record in warm up matches and Mick says that he doesn't think they matter a whit.

Pearce going on about Argentina keeping the ball and saying I hope someone is counting the number of passes in this move and Mick say unless there is a shot or they create something it doesn't count for anything.

Not denying it makes sense, it's that usually the co-commentator tends to blandly agree with what ever the commentator says.

Arsenal could do with that goal keeper

Higuain is one of the best in Europe.

If anything the past two seasons have shown that.

Milito is better than him anyday of the week

Higuain has shown he is a big game chocker and he's proving it right so far

Well very enjoyable first half and unless nigeria can get jonas sent off or anyone else, argentina got this

But very inexperienced at international level tbf.

Isn't this only his 6th cap?

Although Miilto has only 4 goals in 20 apps - hardly fantastic.
