Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought Tevez could have released it earlier into space ahead of the players coming in but he slowed down a bit and passed directly to one of them.

    Really enjoying this game.

Surely the Argies will score again

Goalkeeper must be a contender for MotM by now.

Messi has been fantastic, hard to believe he hasn't scored yet.

One mistake on top of some amazing saves... compared to almunia and fabianski who make a mistake every fecking 10 minutes!

Haha funnily enough i just googled him and this came up!
    http://www.imscouting.com/global-news-article/arsenal-agreed-deal-for-keeper-vincent-enyeama-but/2327/
Reports in Israel today have claimed that Arsenal had agreed personal terms with Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama last week, but the Premier League club pulled out of the deal as they would not pay Hapoel Tel Aviv €2million for the highly-rated custodian.

Enyeama is the first choice goalkeeper for Nigeria and impressed during Nigeria’s recent 1-0 win over France at the beginning of the month. Arsene Wenger who was working for French TV on the game saw the performance of Enyeama and made a move for the 26-year-old.

After failing to agree terms with Hapoel Tel Aviv , Arsenal then extended the contract of second-choice Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Arsenal are now believed to have ended their interest in Enyeama despite the fact his agent has claimed he would have been first choice at the Emirates.

    Maxi coming on? Ugh, disappointing

^^ Maybe Wenger will reconsider after seeing how he handled Messi

Only for Messi's few bursts with the ball this game would be bland

His 12 goals in 36 compares favourably to your beloved Carlito's 9 in 53 ;)

    finally

    money on him now

I hate to use the old "naive" turkey about African teams, but the total lack of composure amongst the Nigerians when they get within 30 yards of goal is laughable.

This keeper's stock will have multiplied after today. Still think Messi should have done better.

Jays, it's just not going in for Messi today!

With regard to signing this player and that based on the WC, just realise that the top clubs are aware of almost every professional player out there who's in anyway decent.

Maybe a good performance at a WC would convince them that they can perform at a high level but not many would be signed based purely on WC performance.

So how do Villa fit into this? :p

I do think I would laugh my balls off if Nigeria managed to nick a goal and draw this.
