Cooking rashers in a microwave

    On the back of the scrambled eggs thread :D

    They only way to go if you do not like crispy rashers (which I don't)

    If you like your bacon/rashers crispy stick to the pan/grill.

    i've done this a few times before, they actually dont taste half bad! cant beat a crispy rasher though! :D

    Yes I nuke them in the microwave occasionally, only when I'm in a hurry and starving. They're not too bad TBH but nowhere near as good as when fried.

    Marco Pierre White puts them in the microwave iirc, so it must be alright - the dude didn't get his 3 stars for nothing :)

    Haven't tried it myself though...

    we do ours on the gas bbq...it started because the grill didn't work..it continued because they taste soo good!

    They're absolutely fine as long as you cut the rind off after. I find it still looks & tastes a little raw & rubbery but the bacon is fine!
