My gut says Alien all the way... but The Thing is lodged in my brain as one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. Granted I was a young pup when I first saw it...

I am thinking a draw here. They fight. The Thing kills the Alien but in doing so gets covered in the alien's blood. So the victory is shortlived as the acid does an even better job on the Thing than fire can.


Result? A big messy puddle of goo on the ground.
