Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Maybe it's because we've been deprived of quality so far but Germany look really excellent.

Germany the first team to lay down a marker of their intentions

Pity the Irish team can't have a good as a mentality as the Germans. Incredible.

I've no idea wtf they're doing. Two slow centre backs trying to step up is a joke.

Ever think you'd be saying that?

Best game (only thanks to the Germans) of the tournie so far.

Jaysus I'd forgotten what decent football looked like over the last couple of days. Surely the best game so far and it's even half time yet.

Aussies started really well but the Germans are rampant. Csn only see them adding to their tally.

    Impressive stuff from them.

If Trapp had matching blazers and tops as the assistant we might be on to a winner!

Only Graeme Souness can describe what Germany are doing to Australia :pac:

Germanys movement, passing and in particular their final ball have been fantastic.

Podolski keeps playing brilliant balls for that Ozil lad, shame he cannot finish them.

The Germans are so enjoyable to watch. <3 Philipp Lahm.

Ozil would have taken the fall there had he not already been booked for diving.

    I reckon anyway.

Neuer looks fairly assured in only his 6th international match. could give R Green a tip or two.

Have €10 on Germany to get to the Semis.

Only got odds of about 7/2

Yeah that's what I was just saying to my dad. I'd say he expected Schwarzer to follow through and was ready to fall to the floor but when Schwarzer didn't, he had to stay on his feet.

No need to be diving. They have this game in a nut shell.

Some first half from Germany - they look real good to progress.
