Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well at least they kept the coverage going for the goals so far. That is a nice change. In fairness, US are a far better team than the Socceroos.

    But they didn't play as bad as some made out and they were up against a good team, regardless of what people were saying beforehand.

    Germany look comfortable here, although Australia are playing a really odd game. Strange defensive decisions being made here. Shambles.

    Nothing underwhelming about it before Bayern Munich!
    I've always liked him because he flies under the radar of most fans unlike Rooney, Ronaldo, Henry, etc.

    Australia are just totally opened up on our left side. Germany are having a field day coming down there and our central defence is poor.

    We better have some serious adjustments made during half time.

    But to be honest, even a draw is a far away hope...

    Certainly the best performance I've seen but then again I can imagine Argentina/France/England tearing this backline apart. Not sure why Australia are playing the offside trap so much (or at all) since it's clearly not going to work. They'll do well to keep this at 2-0. He needs to change something, striker would probably help (along with changing the tactics in defense).
