    I wonder if this guy did the 100 or the 200 - the DublinBikes are damn heavy and have only 3 gears, fair dues either way (I struggled up a couple of the hills with 30 gears on my bike).

    Not sure which run he took, I passed him as he went up the long hill before the turn off for the 200 route.
    Greystones proved a popular venue for the majority of participants I spoke to.
    Well done to all, Riders and Organisers and the back up crews.

    The guy on the DublinBike rode the 100 but claimed that he rode it out to Greystones before the start. I rode with him for a bit around Roundwood. He was crouched down on the bars twiddling his limited gears to try to keep with the group I was in but the descent to Annamoe killed him. He said the climb up the Long Hill was "a bit hard".

    I saw him again at the stop in Rathdrum so he made it at least that far!

    The reason I have posted photos here are because I am from Greystones and the event started and finished in Greystones. Local interest.
    There are many photos of the event in the cycling thread too.
