Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wheel Truing Question

I recently damaged a Fulcrum 1(same as Campag Eurus) front wheel. The wheel is true, however there is a bump on the rim (not perfectly round). I have been told this cannot be fixed because there are only 16 spokes.

    Any advice/opinions greatly appreciated.

    Tks.

The reason for not being able to fix has more to do with bent rim than no. of spokes present. If you hit a standard high quality 32H handbuilt wheel hard enough, then you may have the same issues. The only solution is replace the wheel or rim, the former should be easier achievable and possibly cheaper.

sell it on ebey or similar and get what you can for it
rebuild will cost at least as much as a brand new wheel id say especially if you can sell what youve left of the one you have

It might be fixable, I had a wheel with a similar problem that I got fixed but it may not have been as bad:
