Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surely can't be any worse than this current game.

    Expecting a 2-2 draw.

I'd be fairly surprised if Ghana can score a goal against that defence.

Really looking forward to watching Serbiaic, I think they could cause an upset in the knockout stages.

Thought Subotic would be playing at the back for Serbia. Hope to see Tosic at some stage too.

I'm hoping Ghana can clinch this

Very young Ghana side. 8 players in the squad are under the age of 21, and only 2 are over the age of 29. Will be interesting to see how they do, this team will surely be playing together for years to come and will be able to build on anything they achieve this month.

Serbia have a good starting XI. They are capable of going far IMO.

Reckon 2-0 to Serbia with Pantelic to score hopefully :D

It's a large core of the team that won the underage champioship.

I'm in work so have no access to anything but boards essentially, would someone be a gent and post up the starting XI's for me?

I'd say Serbia should win this one comfortably. 2-0

Expect the word "naive" to be used ad nauseum, but for the most part with good reason.

Liverpool fans need to be on Jovanovic watch assuming he signs as expected.

Whats the story there actually, has he officially signed? Or will it be called off now that Rafa's gone?

I read the other day that Rafa was trying to get him to Inter. I don't think he has officially signed yet, but i could be wrong

I wonder will they apologise after the break. It'll also be interesting to see what the repercussions would be if he said that on the likes of Sky or the BBC. It's not a big deal but I'm sure it'd be made of a big deal by the press.

^^ I dunno the Irish arent too pc on things like that

Please let there be a few goals in this match!

Official apology, supposed they probably had to - still wont stop a muppet or two ringing in to Joe Duffy tomorrow I bet.

Was talking about about the English press. But as Archimedes has said, it won't stop the liveline brigade having a whinge.

In fairness to Souness, it's a footballing expression so it's not something that hasn't been said before. But that said, he shouldn't have said it on live tv. :D

Souness made a huge error....he said Liverpool beat United 5-1. It was 4-1 :(

A bit less shocking than the infamous Roddy Collins comment about Paul Cook and his wife though... God almighty...

Interestingly both keepers were back up to Chris Kirkland at Wigan last season.

Don't fear chaps, for the first time this tournament I've got a bet on there being less than 2.5 goals. Just watch them fly in all over the shop now.

Actually they were backup to Chris Kirklands backup Mike Pollit, which makes them all the more worse keepers
