    Every now an again people mention forums I can't see... do they exist or people just messing with my head? I know theres some forums somewhere that people apply to get into? is this right?

    Is there a list of such forums? how many is there? if I don't know they're there, I can't ask to be there? ..........

    This makes my head hurt. It's just a curiousity anyway, I'm sure there's a list somewhere I'm not seeing or something.

    Seriously though, I think private forums don't show up on the menus unless you're a member of them.

    Most of them are under the hosted section but yes, you wont see them in any drop down menus.

    They'll only be visible to you in their parent forum if you're a member.

    Theres no list available to the grunts as far as I know, but every now and again I see the name of a forum I have never heard listed under in the mods posting profile...... If it looks interesting I might request access but usually the name means 0 and I dont bother.

    They are also visable in the Mod list under a Mods profile

    It should be somewhere around here if a Mod is a Mod of a private forum the name also shows up here

    You can click on the link under the mods name, if it is private you will get the message telling you that you don't ahev access

    You can PM the mod under whose name you found the link and ask them for access which you may or may not get
