Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

...windows audio service is not activated.

It asks me if I want to activate it now and when I click yes it brings me to the 'sound tab' but nothing happens. Any ideas ? Its a laptop running vista which was recently reinstalled, although Im fairly sure the sound has worked since then. Ive tried a couple of system restores but it didnt work. Seems like it might be a driver issue ?

    I'd say so alright.

Are you connected to the net? If you are go to start, right click on my computer, then click device manager, go to sound, its a driver issue you will see an exclamation mark on the device. Right click on it and update driver, search automatically for driver.

Or google laptop make and model sound drivers
