Consumer rights re damaged dress

Bought a dress recently and when I machine washed it at 30C as per the label instructions some colours faded. I returned it to the shop who are sending it back to the manufacturers to check it out,should I be offered a refund? what are my rights?

Hi,

You should probably have a look at the consumer issues forum. It has a very helpful thread here explaining what your rights are etc.

I'm going to lock this thread as it's not Waterford specific.
