Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've got a Lunicron lcd 825z3 digital camera that I bought in Tesco's 4 years ago it probably owes me nothing, but the screen has gone blank although it still can take pictures, can this be fixed and if it can, can anyone recommend someone to do this for me i'm in the Waterford area.Thank's.

It's going to be cheaper to just buy a new camera. Save a little bit extra and buy something good that will last you

Can you recommend something with a fast shutter speed as that's the only fault I had with my old one,i'm just a happy snapper i'd like something that could catch something like a dog running without being blurred and not too dear.

As cheap as I can get as I take most of my pictures while out hunting, so something that won't break the bank, and if it gets broken while i'm out jumping over ditches it won't cause me too much concern,it has to be one that will fit in my pocket, i'm not knowlegable on cameras so maybe you can advise me on something handy that can take an action shot.

Hoping to get away with about €180 if it's possible.

Do you know any photographers or amateur photographers in your area, if so perhaps they can recommend a local camera shop that can be relied on to provide honest advice. At €180, I would think you will get a decent point and shoot digital and you may get a 2nd hand DSLR if you watch adverts.ie and the like, I believe that I have seen a few Sony A100 go for around your price range. A lot depends on what you want to do with the camera, if it's just "snaps" family pics, then a point and shoot is probably ideal. If you want to get more creative or learn more (attend a night class) then a bridge camera or entry level DSLR would be worth considering. Remember, even with a DSLR you can put it in full auto mode where it will do all settings for you but give you the option to switch to other modes to experiment and learn more about photography.

Take a look in Sam Macauley's in Waterford, they sometimes have good deals on nice cameras.

Just a guess but most point and shoots you can turn the screen off by pressing the display button. Long shot
