Switzerland haven't been playing particularly well but they've taken their chance but on the basis of play I think Spain are worthy of an equaliser. Playing some magnificent stuff in this second half but hey, it's providing some good attacking football and that's what we all want from what has been a lifeless World Cup thus far.

'Magnificent' would be stretching it a bit in all fairness.

Spain have played some nice stuff like they usually do but without creating much in the way of clearcut chances. You'd have to say Switzerland deserve at least a point, and they might even nick all three at this stage (with only 7 minutes left as I type this).

Genuinely exciting with both teams williing to attac. First half wasn't great but these last 20 minutes have been wonderful to watch. Just what we needed. Here's hoping the second round of group matches is better with many teams pushing on to win games.
