    Anyone else get these answers?

    1.(b)(ii) [latex] k=-17, k=-47[/latex]

    4.(c)(iii) [latex] r=\frac{bc}{2a}[/latex]

    5.(c)(ii) [latex] x= 10^{\circ}, 70^{\circ}, 130^{\circ}, 190^{\circ}, 250^{\circ}, 310^{\circ} [/latex]

    6.(a) [latex] \frac{2}{7} [/latex]

    8.(a) [latex] x\log_e x -x+c [/latex]

    (b)(ii) [latex]12\sqrt3 [/latex]

i got 20 too, itg was k^2 = 400 or something like that
    I somehow had K^4 = 160,000. Then said k=+/- 20

Here are I think the answers to the probability q's

    6 (a) 1/6

    b proof

c 6 times. Loads of different methods used but once you got 6 you're ok.

7.a don't remember the exact figure but it was 26x36x36x36

    b 7/20

    1/40

    19/24

    c 3a, rt2

cant remember the second mean but im pretty sure I got it.
    3rt2 was the second deviation.

Oh yea I got mixed up there sorry. Yes CB is = OA.

And OR = 2OC which is written as R = 2C. Has to be from the origin so it is right.
yeah i got what OC was, then what OR was...and it could be seen that 2oc = or! but i didnt actually prove it, i just what they were, then said since it was obvious it was, therefore they were linear.. will i lose marks for not proving it, or do u have to, and how do u prov it if so?

Well if you showed that 2c = r then that is it proven. Just have to say it's collinear then.

Despite the fact ive gotten 70% on papers much harder than this For some reason I could do enough of it. got everything but 1bii, 3cii, all of 46 b and c, got 7 b done but the answer seemed dodgy and could do 8 b or the cii/iii. Might have just scrapped a pass. Otherwise I've just lost all but one of my CAO choices :(

    0.561
    c) 78.339 and 81.663
my dads a maths teacher so these answred have been verified:)

cos it told u the ansle was equal to -1/rt2
so it wud be k-2/rt5.rt k squared plus 1 =-1/rt2

It said cos was = to that? I put it the degrees for cos and used the graph to go from u to get the possible values of k? Think I got -2 and 4.

Did anybody else change sin 1/2 to radians in question 8ciii? And also how many marks would you lose for saying that the area of the rectangle is half the size it actually is? Would that just be a blunder?

Anybody get 53/120 for Q7 b)ii)? I got 7/20 and 1/40 for the other ones but part three was tricky enough. Deadly paper though, delighted with it after an only ok paper 1! :D

yeah so u put cos equal to that equal to -1/rt2
got k=3 and k=-1/3 not sure if its right though

Leaving cert maths has gone to the shitter.

That paper doesn't compare to the early 2000's.

Be bloody glad that you're getting an easy A1. And if you didn't get an A1 then you're the ****ter
