Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I need to fit three adults, an infant in a carseat, suitcases, buggy and bike box in a car.

Which of these cars would have room?:
    Ford Focus Estate
    VW Passat wagon
    Audi A4 wagon
    Ford Mondeo SW

Hi. I know nothing about cars. But, my wife drives one of those Renault people carrier things.
It takes two adults three kids in baby/child seats several suitcases a double buggy and a bike in bag.

You don't happen to know the model?

I think its a Grand Scenic or Espace. It fits loads. Sorry can't be more helpful. Cars just aren't my thing.
Oh. Its very comfortable on long drives if that helps.

I would expect it would need to be the (7-seater) Grand Scenic rather than the (5-seater) Scenic like my wife has. That won't take a bike box in the boot...

That said, most estate cars should cope.

I have got 5 people (properly seated & belted) plus bike box, 3 suitcases of luggage plus carry on stuff plus buggy etc into a Opel Zafira & also same amount into Grand Scenic.

Like other poster said, gotta be the bigger option 7 seater.

One more thing, the estate cars have more floor space but might require you to stack the luggage if you can't get the bike box to stand on its side, which brings other issues into play.

So if you are doing a rental you might be safer with a 7 seater.

Would you risk the bike box on a roof rack? Can you even rent roof racks?

I'm just back from a trip where bike boxes were problematic, but then we didn't have a choice of cars.

Went with a Ford Galaxy, think that should do it. Thanks all.
