The Whitehorse Festival Mountrath July 17 & 18

    We're just launching a festival in Mountrath called the Whitehorse Festival to run on Saturday, July 17 & 18.

    We've organised a Music and Dance Summer camp to teach two groups, over and under 10's, music and dance routines to be held on the town main stage in the square on Sunday.

    Along with plenty of music and dance on the main stage, we'll also be running a pub challenge, with teams from all the bars in the area competing in events such as Tug of War, over 40 egg and spoon races etc

    We'll also be running a treasure hunt on the Saturday and a Mountrath mmini marathon on the Sunday, country and craft markets on the Sunday and hopefully, a fireworks display to wrap the whole festival up.

    Hopefully we'll see a few faces from around the county to pop over and take in the the atmosphere.
