    Favourite member of Hanson?
I'm asuimg all of them is an option, cos its totally all of them.

Would you rather live a life without history or a life without bewbs?
Bewbs for sure. I think I could live without bewbs, I mean, theres always personality and shít like that I guess..

First off, I would like to say that I approve of your choice of the lovely Parnell as having some of the most awesome facial hair in history. He was a great lad.

Ok, have you any pets? And their names please if they exist.
I have a 14 year old arthritic Yorkshire terrier who still thinks he's a puppy, he is called Max and we are bessie mates. Its pretty sad how long our conversations last some days..

Any posters on your bedroom wall?
    In true history nerd fashion I have these two bad boys on my wall;
    Afb013.jpg
    Bought this baby off ebay.

I got this little fella at the Imperial War museum in London which is my favourite place ever!

Dairy milk, smarties or crunchie mcflurry?
Crunchie McFlurry. I'm a fiend for honeycomb.

What do you want to do further research into? And if you could write an amazing tome of historical wonderfulness what or who would it be on?
Ideally I'd want to end up in any field of Modern Military History, preferably something post-1800 ish. Even more idealistic than that I'd want to end up studying WW2 but I doubt that is very likely. Basically, I just want to drag out the college experience as long as possible :pac:
In terms of making a "tome of historical wonderfulness" I'd love to choose some really obscure field to research so it would be harder for people to criticize and find fault with my most likely outlandish claims. I'd also love to do some research into the state and affairs of the various European churches during WW2, I think thats a pretty fascinating and revealing topic that doesn't seem to have as much research done on it as it perhaps should.

I'm being nosey here, which modules did you pick for next year? Shall you be studying the lovely Parnell with me?
Can't really remember, I kinda filled out the form in a bit of a haze.. But I'm pretty sure I chose everything European and nothing Irish (Sorry Ireland, but the dept. is crap and the lecturers ghey). Definitely didn't choose that Viking module, that looked a bit ****e. Most of my 6 choices were Early Modern Europe I'm pretty sure:pac:

    Thnx bbz.

    Lynx; Africa or Chocolate?

Boys don't cry; true or false?
True, men are too busy eating meat and lifting things. We dont have time to cry.

    Blue or black pen?
Blue, but black if I'm feeling fancy. Ideally I'd have one of these bad boys:

    What colour are your pillowcases?
    Subdued grey.

    Where is your passport?
Beside my wallet on mah bookcase.

    Tea or coffee?
Coffee for sure. Although I do have an undying love for peppermint tea.

    Cow&Chicken or CatDog?
Cow and Chicken! Catdog was just weird..

The morbegs taught me more than I ever learned in school. They are truly the unsung heroes of this great nation.

Are you the quickest person to answer the playpen questions EVER?

Why do you think you won the Jizzler award for Poster you'd least like to be stuck in a lift with?

Have you ever been stuck in a lift?

Have you ever been stuck anywhere?

    Can you cook?

    Do you have a job?

Is there any question you're just dying to be asked but no one has asked it yet?

Are you the quickest person to answer the playpen questions EVER?
Left your questions ages to answer on purpose so I wouldn't look like a playpen nerd..

Why do you think you won the Jizzler award for Poster you'd least like to be stuck in a lift with?
It was clearly an ironic choice. OH U GUISH!

Have you ever been stuck in a lift?
Nope, but now I'm rather paranoid I will do..

Have you ever been stuck anywhere?
Been stuck in town many a time late at night/early in the morning with no money for a taxi home and having to walk the 2-ish hours home. The perks of being a broke student..

    Can you cook?
Yeah, I think I'm a pretty good cook. I always enjoy what I eat anyways.

    Do you have a job?
    I'm currently self employed.

Lol jk I'm broke and unemployed:(

Is there any question you're just dying to be asked but no one has asked it yet?
Can't think of any, but If I do I'll pm ye ;)

What's your favourite ever boards thread/post/forum?
I think the jizzler thread was pretty much the pinnacle of interwebs.

What do you do on sunny days?
Go for a nice aul sail, tis' lovely.

Where do you see yourself in 5 and 10 years time?
Hopefully as content as I am now but with a career of some sort and some sort of financial stability.

Why aren't you on IRC more?
I have yet to go on the IRC, maybe one day when I'm feeling realllly pathetic.

Favourite place in Ireland/in the world?
My favourite place in Ireland would be Dublin for sure, I love the place! In the World, it would probably be somewhere covered in Snow or the Lake District in England. Absolutely am in love with the Lake district, such a serne place.

How many countries have you been in?
About 7 that I can remember, hoping to add to that number significantly though.
    Pygmalion wrote: »

Do you think pygmalion looks like a slightly nerdier Charles Stewart Parnell?
What's the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Try to find what makes you happy and contented and hang onto it.

    Best compliment you've ever received?
When my aunt told me how much my younger cousin looks up to me. This was a few years ago, but it really made me feel warm and fuzzy inside:pac: Sometimes we forget the extent of the influence we have on the peeps we surround ourselves with.

5 things you like about yourself?
I like; My sense of humour, my ability to get through exams with minimal effort and come out on top :pac:, my eyebrows, my ability to look Korean and also Spanish sometimes ( I am neither..) and my sweet cous cous making skills.

Languages you'd love to learn to speak?
Wouldn't mind finally conquering the behemoth that is Spanish. Would also love to Learn mdeieval Latin, would be immensely useful for my College stuff.

    Any fears/phobias?
Fear of not accomplishing something worth while in life. Also severely uncomfortable with heights.

    Any interest in politics?
Only a passing interest in current politics, far more concerned with the politics of the past.

    Are you ticklish?
    Yeah I think so.

What do you do when you need cheering up?
Have lengthy conversations with my dog. They have lasted hours in the past :pac:

    Pet peeves?
When people tell me stuff I already know. This probably makes me sound like a doucher, and I understand, but I get irrationally annoyed when people tell me the same information twice.

    Guilty pleasures?
I'm not guilty of any of my pleasures, I enjoy what I enjoy!

Have been known to listen to jpop on youtube though..

    Bottled water,yay or nay?
Yay, I spend far too much money on the stuff.

    Proudest achievements?
    Succeeding against the odds.

    Best "mistake" you've ever made?
Not studying for the leaving Cert. Really did a shameful amount of study for the leaving but despite that managed to get my first choice in college. Who knows where I would of ended up had I been more motivated!

    What inspires you?
Bit of a sad answer but my mother does, she's a pretty incredible lady. Definitely an inspiration.

How would your friends describe you?
    Awesome duder.

    Do you dream in colour?
    Absotively!
    :)

I'm a complete fiend for Iced-tea. Love the stuff. Also big into fruit juices.

Stance on the Irish language? (Is it different because of you being a History student?)
Its pretty kewl. Cultivating a sense of national pride is hugely important (something a decent teaching of history also contributes to). The problem with Irish in this country at the moment is the fact that we as a people dont make it relevant and if we cant do that the language wont do more than survive. Having said that, I dropped the lanuguage after third year because its taught horribly and I knew it would hold me back. It needs to be completely revamped in the way it is taught for it to ever have any hope of succeeding.

Edward I of England. He was just an all round legend and hugely interesting person. Loads of awesome anecdotes surrounding his life.

Always thought it was fun to spell, weirdly enough.

    NOT SURE LULZ.

    Dogs.

    Strawberry or Choclate?
    Strawberry

    Kevin Rose

I bought some crackers and water earlier on. Oh the extravagance!
    Favourite Wes Anderson film?
I love all of them an inordinate amount, but The Royal Tenenbaums was the first piece of his I saw so it holds a special place in my heart. Bottle Rocket comes very very close though.

    Favourite episode of the Sopranos?
I think Series 6 Part 1 and 2 as a whole was pretty much perfect as were all the episodes it contained, but Episode 1 Series 1 would have to be my favourite. It just so perfectly introduces the key characters and setting, it really sets up the rest of the show perfectly.

    :)

I don't really feel particularly strongly about any issue in particular. I love arguing/debating any topic really. I like to put up a fight :)

    Strangest place you've slept?
Have slept in many strange places this year; random people's couches/floors, the toilet of a popular nightclub in Dublin, various bushes in back gardens. Take your pick :pac:

Disappointed I haven't given you a ridiculously long list of questions?
    More hurt than disappointed tbh..

Enjoying the summer? What have you done so far?
Yeah loving the Summer thus far despite my unemployment. I've done a fair bit so far; Ridiculous amount of sailing, rowed to an island and camped there, hiked, ran, gave up smoking, got slightly fitter and healthier, read lots of trashy Military fiction novels and learnt to drive. Lots still left to do though, summer 2010 is gonna be a good 'un for sure.
