Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Never seen North Korea's sponsors before. Is it a government symbol or something?

The long shots have been embarassing so far

Don't think Brazil are going to break sweat tonight, look to be very relaxed.

Is it just me or did Robinho look like he's been having a lot of craic recently.

Possible stupid question, but do any of the N.Korean lads play outside N. Korea?

Loving the 2pac reference on ITV. Last thing I expected to hear tonight!

Brazil will have to hit the back of the net soon. Korea won't be able to keep soaking up the pressure.

2 of them do - one in Russia, the other in Japan.

Just for anyone who is watching on ITV and was curious after Clyde Tyldsley's comments regarding Jong Tae Se's two "breathtaking goals" against Greece, here they are:

    Well taken.

3 of them. Rest play in N. Korea.

Must be 3 of them as George said at the start that 8 of the team are playing in North Korean league.

The lads on ITV said it was only 2 - Jong Tae Se and An Yong Hak.

    Disappointed so far!

Got money on Fabiano for Golden Boot so kind of need this to be a comfortable win.

Those 2 play in the J-League is what they meant. The captain, Hong Yong-Jo, plays in Russia.

    Great attitude there by Elano...

Thats the way to react when your teammate makes a mistake.

North Korea are playing better than I thought they would and Brazil much worse.

this looks like another boring match

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,950 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

The Brazilians are playing it too narrow or something. Koreans are doing brilliantly, they have so much pace...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,164 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

That Korean no.9 looks a decent striker showing good pace, would like to see what hes like in front of goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,391 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

    This is dreadful, absolutely dreadful.

I turned off the Italy match at half time last night and I think I'll be doing the same tonight.

    Hopeless.

I'm liking the pace of the game. More upbeat, particularly when the Koreans get on the attack. That no. 9 is a livewire!

Is it that Kaka misplaced one or two passes or just that your not happy that brazil aren't winning:confused:

Fair play to N Korea. Doing themselves proud

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,099 ✭✭✭Dean820

    Great pressure from North Korea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,587 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

This has been a fascinating game so far, and is what the world cup is all about. Naysayers, quit your moaning.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,799 ✭✭✭KELTICKNIGHTT

the brazilaians are playing poor, lacking, the the koreans are able too play more because of it,hope this world cup gets better

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,099 ✭✭✭Dean820

That striker looks brilliant for North Korea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

North Korea are doing good. Brazil are muck so far. With players like Gilberto Silva and Elano on their team it shouldn't be much of a surprise tho. Can see now how Lucas got a few caps in the last year or 2.

I for one salute our new Asian overlords.

The Koreansa and Japanese really know how to close down.

I think it's the fact that there's 38 minutes gone and Brazil are limited to shots from outside the box.

Well done to Korea, but I want to see some goals. 4 days into the world cup and bar 3-4 games the tournament has been horrendous.

LOI division 1 is better that this shoite we have to put up with

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,950 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Jaysus, Koreans aren't afraid to close down the ball quickly!

Reminds me more of Barca - Inter champions league semi-final, but each to their own!

Is it just me or does there seem to be considerably less vuvuzela noise. On several occasions I can hear the crowd Oooooing and ahhhing when North Korea or Brazil have a chance. It's great!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,950 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Brazil are like schoolboys around the box, all just following the ball.

This World Cup stinks so far. Thank goodness for the Germans and Argentina and roll on the Spain game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,099 ✭✭✭Dean820

What odds would you have got for 0-0 at half time?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,116 ✭✭✭✭RasTa

    Bye bye money.
