Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is Eboue wearing Thomas the Tank Engine boxers?

Ref isn't having a great game. Getting some free kick decisions wrong.

At least it seems like it going to be a good game. Both teams really seem up for a it and playing nice football. About time we got a good game. Hopefully we see a few goals now.

    Good old liverscore anaylsis
The home team have had 36% of possession compared to the away team's 64%

Work has finally set up the TV's but there are two massive poles in the way.

RTE player and Eurovision.tv doesn't work here in the office - anyone got any other links I could try?

i understood manlove for Carvalho about 3 years ago.

    but he's deteriorated frighteningly really.

and people think Terry's got bad? anti-English syndrome i'm afraid...

    'Poles' is ambiguous.
    And ambiguity is funny.

As safe as watching illegal tv streams in work can be.

Yea should be fine. Just a list of links. I normally use them. But watching this on TV at the moment so haven't needed to.

Keep it quiet or I'll have no stream ;).

Got to be honest here. I still have not seen one great game yet in this tournament and this is the thirteenth.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,527 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Slow, jerky unreliable streams. It's not really worth the hassle for the quality of football on display. I think I'll just wait for some decent quality highlights clips and pretend I watched the World Cup.

live.itv.com is perfect for me, and the bbc streams are excellent.

This match is shockingly bad though. I play better football on a Sunday morning down the park.

www.eurovisionsports.tv/fifaworldcup/ has the best quality streams I've ever seen (it is linked from the rte website so seems they have an legal agreement. No english commentary though and it stopped working halfway through the half. But worked perfectly before that and in Slovakia New Zealand. Back working now.

Unfortunately I can't any RTE, ITV or BBC streams. :(

Ronaldo and Deco didn't look too happy with each other there at all.

    Deco was pi$$ed.

Portugal finally getting back into the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Ivory Coast should be 1 up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,014 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Portugal are pretty poor and very negative.Outside of Ronaldo, they don't look like they have any threat at all going forward.Their fullbacks aren't getting forward either.Coentrao has got forward once or twice, but considering he's a left winger, he should be getting forward way more.

    This is awful.

Looks like Drogs is about to amke his introduction.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,608 ✭✭✭Spud83

Portugal's passing has been poor and they look like the have been out of ideas since about 20 minutes in. Ivory Coast are just waiting for Drogba to come on, and then they will start lumping it to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Here he comes.

    Here comes Drogbar.

If this ends a draw and the both lose to Brazil it could come down to how many they put past N.Korea.

Alot of ifs and buts but you just never know at the WC.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,950 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Seeing as Drogba has a cast on his arm, he might be less willing to throw himself to the floor.

    Hopefully.

I can confirm there is two on the pitch.

However there doesn't look like theres much of a chance of a ball going in either of them.

Someone should put a cast on ronaldo's arm.

And the way that IC fella was rolling about the place, you'd think he needed one for his skull too.

    Feckin' eejit.

Ive stated in the Brazil v N.Korea thread I expect Brazil to turn them over, yes N.Korea had a good qualifying campaogn but you would expect them not to take a point at all.

    But stranger things have happened.

Heres hoping for a shock :pac:

I'm glad I am at work listening to the commentary because if I was at home on the couch I would be asleep.
