Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Feck.

Had Chile to win 2-0 in my bet.
How they didn't score a second is beyond me.

Not having any luck with these. Had Germany to win 3-0. Also had USA to win 2-1. Your man burns Carragher and hits the post in the second half. so brutal

I would worry about Chile's lack of clinical edge against Swiss and Spain!

Honduras may lose all their matches tbh!

Chile look technically good, just need to put some chances away

Sauzo's absence for Chile probably prevented the score reaching an embarrassing level for Honduras. Alexis Sanchez showed why he is so coveted. Some terrific performances from La Roja - Vidal, Fernandez etc.

48 years of hurt? They were in the last-16 in '98

It's the first time they've won since 1962 though.
They qualified for the second round in 98 with draws (2-2 v Italy, 1-1 v Austria and 1-1 v Cameroon).

Yeah, so what? Name one team that would rather win a game and go out in the group stages than go through to the second round undefeated.

Still won't top Ireland getting to the quarters in Italia 90 without winning a game and scoring 2 goals!

I won't indulge that request, because there are none.
The 'hurt' is their lack of a win. It was widely referred to in the press in trhe pre-match build-up that the Chilean players and manager wanted to end their barren streak.
