Cost For Running Sewage System

Hi does anybody know is it expensive to run a sewage system. Im building on a site which has a fall of 3mtrs and the house is going on the lwr side (council Rule) and i have to put septic tank on the higher side and pump the sewage to the tank. Are these heavy on electricity?
