Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pump - electric or PTO

Since the demise of an old zetor tractor I used to have, I no longer have the means to pump a tyre in the farmyard. I'm looking for either a plug in compresser pump ( strong enough to pump a tractor tyre) or alternatively a PTO pump. I saw one one on flomax.ie for €60 but it was only 1ltr capacity. Is this too small to inflate a tractor tyre??

Another alternative is to some how convert an old milking machine motor into a pump, anyone with ideas of how to do this, let me know.:D

Have a 25 litre compressor for the last 10 years. Bought it for £90. It has not given an ounce of bother. It will pump tractor tyres (You might have to take a 2 minute break when pumping a large back wheel to let it refill, but it does the job). Have an air grease gun for it too which makes it a pleasure to grease machinery. Got a retractable hose for it in the last few years from aldi, great job!

Best money ever spent!! You can pick the same size up these days for less than €100
