    Hey Racso, can you tell me where i can find out more about this 3day training program or tell me how it works, my daughters 2 years and 5months old and iv been trying every way i can think of to train her but nothing is working and iv been trying for nearly two months. It's very frustrating when I dont know what i can do better or to make it easier for her.

    She has to be trained by September so ill really try anything or accept any advise from anyone at this stage!

    Thanks

    EDIT: Also sorry my post isnt really answering the question you were asking!

    www.3daypottytraining.com

    The theory behind it is basically you sit under the child for 3 whole days i.e. you follow them everywhere and never let them out of your sight. trust me this is the hard/tiring part. you also never ask them do they need to use the toilet. you ask them to tell you when they want to do a wee or pooh and you continually remind them of that all the time (you get fierce sick of it) you also only let them wear a top and there pants nothing else. you also do not go anywhere outside the home for the 3 days.

    When they do go you heap praise upon them and i mean heap in the american way i.e. sickingly so!!!

    constapation may be a problem so a high fibre diet is suggested to keep them regular

    you dont give your child a drink for 2-3 hours before bed time either so this obviously cant work if you child is on a bottle before bed

    to be honest for the first 2 days i though this is a feckin waste of time!!!! but he really clicked it on day 3.

    any questions just ask

    Wow ok so basically full attention and down on my knees for 3days

    Think the hardest part will be keeping her indoors for 3 whole days :eek:

    But hey, if that's what it takes! Ill read up on it tonight and ill start on Friday so it'll give me whole weekend.

    Fingers crossed next week ill post some good news lol

    Hi. I've got my boy going to the potty at home but not in the creche. He has the same potty there but refuses to use it. Simply holds everything in all day long till he gets home. His minder suggests not making a big deal of it and seeing what'll happen. Any other suggestions would be very much welcomed please.

    Can someone advise?

    Potty training seems to be working when he has NOTHING on, full commando, but when he has a pair of underpants or pajama bottoms on he doesnt tell me he needs to use the toilet. Should I just keep on with him going commando for a couple of days?

    Metrovelvet!! Having the exact same issue with my little boy!!

    I was advised to go a few days completely commando then after that just pants.

    The hard part is I was told to leave him in the wet pants for a long time so the wet aggrivates him. He doesn't seem too bothered though and of course wants to go sit on furniture and everything with the wet pants on!!

    Agghhh any advise appreciated as he is starting playschool in Sept and worried they won't take him untrained!

    I have same problem and don't know if he'll make playschool.

    On top of that, he wounded his foot and hasn't been able to walk for the last week and I have no idea how long this will go on for.

    Ive tried everything. I'm thinking i may need to call an expert.

    Right I just had to delete a bunch of posts which were asking for illegal copies of a copy written document which you have to pay for to get. This pretty much is illegal activity on the site and against the site rules.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/faq.php?faq=bie_faq_guidelines#faq_bie_faq_guidelines_forbidden
    Forbidden topics of discussion

    We unfortunately do sometimes find ourselves with a problem regarding some issues and no amount of warnings or requests to keep things civil in relation to certain issues have worked, so we simply don’t allow discussion or posting pictures of these things. The list below is by no means set in stone, we can add things to this as time goes by, so it may be no harm to check up on it every few months to see if it’s changed.

    * Pictures or links to pictures of Porn
    * Pictures or links to pictures showing nipples and/or genitalia
    * Child abuse/under age/jailbait/Lolita stuff
    * How to do illegal things (this ranges from software piracy, to swindling the Revenue Commissioners)
    * Pictures or links to pictures of self harming
    * Pro anorexia pictures and websites
    * Trepanning websites
    * Bestiality
    * Ordering medications online.

    Is is the same as photo copying a book or making illegal copies of a movie or a music album and then asking for copies. If anyone else asks pubically on thread for copies there will be bans handed out.
