Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Soccer: The Republic of Ireland’s home friendly internationals will only be broadcast live on Sky Sports for another four years after the Football Association of Ireland finalised a new deal with the satellite broadcaster.

Under the terms of the deal, which runs until 2014, Sky will also screen Ireland’s home Euro 2012 and World Cup 2014 qualifiers. RTE still hold the rights to broadcast those matches on terrestrial television.

“Sky Sports have been excellent partners for Irish football and I am very happy to renew the relationship with them for a further four years,” said FAI chief executive John Delaney.

“This partnership gives the FAI another important platform on which to promote our sport as well as providing important funding to develop football at all levels throughout the country.”

Yep, the Celtic Cup. Starting next year I believe.

Shame Sky have the rights for that long. I think their coverage of Irish games is dire.
