Is there a big difference between ordinary and honours? Im considering dropping in the morning because there's a chance the honours paper wont go well and i don't want to end up failing french.

    Is it worth it?

    YES!!
The pass paper is grand! All you need to know is a form and a postcard :D The rest is questions you answer directly from the text

Looking at 09 pass paper and it contained a section on filling in about yourself? Is this common in the paper? Any preticular layout for the note etc?

I am thinking about dropping to pass, do they ask the questions in english?

Its soooo easy in comparison to higher, i dropped down.

Theres four comprehensions. 160Marks (40% of your overall)
2 Questions in english.. answer in english
2 Questions in french.. answer in french

Then theres composing. 60Marks (15% of your overall)
You answer two of the following but not in the same section

Filling in blanks or a cv (30marks)
    Note or postard (30marks)
Journal or letter. Formal or informal. (30marks)

then the listening is 100Marks (25%)
    Oral 80Marks (20%)

Honestly you don't even need to know any French to do the test. All you need to know is the ending and format to a formal letter. There is such a huge difference between honours and pass, Its an easy subject to get a pass in if that's all you need

Does that mean you could do the filling in the blanks and the postcard only. Or do you have to do a journal or letter too?

Anyone mind sending me some tips? Via PM if they don't mind. Especially tips for a post card/letter. I won't be doing the formal letter.

    Hey mate, don't worry I understand:D

I do the two on A. One on B, One on C. As A is really quick to do and can go either way.

Always a pleasure to help, never a chore:)

I've nothing but I'm pretty decent at the comprehensions and tape, crap at the writing bit but I'll learn some useful phrases in the morning I can just throw in anywhere. :pac:

After French tomorrow I've no exam till the 23rd wooo! Good luck anyways. :)
