Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on a new bike

I'm looking for a bit of advice on a new bike.

It's mainly for cycling in and out to work, between 12 and 14 km each direction, but I'd also like to be able to take it down a country tracks at the weekend (nothing too rough but off road anyway).
While I won't be racing, ideally I'm trying to find something light enough but with straight handle bars (don't know why but feel that they'd give more control(
Budgetwise, I'm looking at 800 give or take a little bit.

I had seen this the Specialized Sirrus Elite, clicky & the Crosstail Comp, clicky.

Any idea's, suggestions or feedback greatly appreciated.
