    Hi,
It's probably v late to be asking this but would anyone recommend the Blackrock residences? I've been to Glenomena so would it much better or worse? Any comments would be helpful.

Well that depends on where you will be based in UCD. Blackrock would be a bit annoying if you were based in UCD full time. Transport to and from UCD and Blackrock isn't very direct.

That's great . Thanks. Is there a direct bus from Smurfit to Belfield then? How often would it go?

17 goes from very near Smurfit to Rialto, but there is a stop within Belfield.

However, the 17 is a disaster of a bus that comes when it wants to and ahs no regard for the timetable >_>

Thanks Fad. Is that the same 17 bus that goes out to Ballyroan? On average how regularly would it go from smurfit to Belfield?

And it doesn't go to Smurfit, you have to walk from Smurfit to the bus stop. IF you're going to be studying on the Belfield campus, stay in Glenomena. If you're going to study in Smurfit and don't have a car, stay in Blackrock. Otherwise you'll spend a lot of time each day going back and forth.
