Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

In this thread, I'm planning a 5 day, 4 night, c.550km mini tour between Roscoff and Cherbourg.

I had assumed I'd ride my Litespeed Blue Ridge, or if the terrain was to be very hilly (it's not) , I'd bring the Dawes Super Galaxy.

Now I'm considering bring the 'Caterpillar' (see below). It's eminently practical for carrying what will be required (we're camping) and with daily distances of c.110km, I don't think I'll suffer unduly.

My only concern is comfort, namely, hand positions. Does anyone have any thoughts on trekking handlebars, the multi position things, such as these:

Any thoughts on where I could source them in Dublin?

    Thanks for reading.
