hi,

just a question, I subscribed to playstation plus today, but I'm waiting till early October for eircom to get in with the broadband.. I was just wondering can I still get some of those games outlined in the previous page in October or are they only offers for September ?

You can download any plus games as long as your subscribed, if you try to download september stuff but cancel the download you have access to it in october even if you never finished it.

Try to add the games but stop the download, this way you can get these games next month.

What's with Plus this month, most of it expires on the 19th an not the full month to the 2nd.

Is there a mid month update coming.

OMFG : SPEEDBALL2!!!!!!!! And FREE with PS+!!!!!!

Man, I loved this game on the Amiga. Played a bit of it this morning. Not 100% authentic to the original but exceptionally close. Much better than the PC version released a few years ago.

I know it's not a plus thing but what do people think of the boarderlands deal on the store?

Is the game any good, i've seen some stuff on 2 but never paid much attention for the first 1.

I got borderlands when i bought my PS3 and thoroughly enjoyed it, graphics are... different but grow on you, story is quite good and funny, online with a few mates it excels. I'll be pre-ordering BL2 without a doubt.

Not sure what the deal is but if its GOTY and reasonably priced, get it.

PSN plus given me a good haul this month.

Crash bandicoot 1, 2, 3 and Crash Team Racing as well as an interesting game called Hydrophobia Prophecy.

Have also treated myself to Valkyrie Chronicles 2 for 16 quid thanks to a discount.

Have to say, a good month!

Also, Penny Arcade Adventures - episodes 1 and 2 for €3.99*(previously €15).

*Not PS+ exclusive, just an FYI.

Lads, I know that PSN+ subscribers can access downloaded content on their other accounts but can they access their other features as well (auto-downloading of patches, cloud saving)?

Basically I've two accounts on my PS3, an Irish account and a UK account. My UK account is my main account. If I subscribe to PSN+ under my Irish account will I be able to cloud save under the UK account and will I have to get the machine to automatically boot up into the Irish account in order to take advantage of autodownloads?

Play all your games on the one account and use PS+ on that one.
If you want to avail of PS+ features on your Irish and uk accounts, you have to buy it for both.
However, if you use your Irish account for PS+ any games you d/l from your uk/US/Japanese accounts will not automatically update, they will save to the cloud.

I managed to get some UK PSN codes from eBay over the weekend so I'm now a fully paid up PSN+ member for the next 12 months. Downloaded a fair bit yesterday and am plowing my way through Back to The Future at the minute. It's very basic, as has been said and would be much more enjoyable if it were not for the horrible controls which don't seem to work half of the time. But I love the films and so am getting a lot out of it.
