Well for those concerned, you can keep the Driveclub upgrade even if PS+ runs out.. unsurprisingly.

    From PS EU Blog twitter
UPDATE> If you have #DRIVECLUB PS+ Ed & upgrade, we'll ensure you keep full game access even if your PS Plus runs out

It was a crazy decision in fairness, how they tried to "slip" that condition in and for gamers to accept it was bullish. Anyone with any sense would just get the physical version when it drops in price after a few months than go digital from Plus.

One thing I have noticed repeatedly about the PS dept. of Sony, when they make a mistake, they hold their hands up and rectify it.

Unlike a well known competitor, who even go as far as to blaming the consumers..

I wonder if people will be ringing Joe Duffy about that like they did during the HMV/XV - XBONE debacle.

There is no point now, the issue is resolved

I still think it would have been rectified to be honest.

Driveclub of all the exclusives Sony have announced is the one that actually looks like it needs PS plus.

There is very little in common between the two.

I played more of "Stick it to the man" today. I dont know why, but I like it. :o

It reminds me of old quest games. On top of that a really interesting and cool art design. Gets thumbs up from me!

Ya I'm liking it too, great humour. Stuck on level 9 though and it's wrecking my head.

Played a bit of Payday 2 and so far I'm pretty disappointed.

It can be a bit of a laugh but generally from the early missions it's the same as the first. Go in.. all hell breaks loose.. wait a long time for various things and complete mission.

I'll probably give it another go but I was hoping for something a bit more interesting. The waiting is a killer... usually between 2 - 6 minutes depending on what it is (vehicle, drill etc)

I've played payday 2 non stop all week, I'm reaching level 80 at this point.

On the mission structure, I think there is enough variety. There are the typical Heist missions, which is a straightforward run in do objectives, survive the hordes of enemies and get out. There are a lot more interesting missions like "Rats" where you have to cook meth by getting the right ingredients in order in Day 1, trade to gangs for information that could randomly go well or a police ambush on Day 2, and finally to rob a bus rigged with C4 that you need information from Day 2. There is an alternate route when you mess up the cook but still be able to progress with the following Days but instead of trading for information you can straight up shoot the place up and hope to find the information before they burn it.

One of my favourite mission is Big Oil, here you have to raid a biker house on the first day to get information (there might be optional items you can pick up for the next day). On Day 2 you have to raid a scientist house, there will be several very heavy "engines" you need to take with you. You need the right one and can only deduce it by looking for clues throughout the house, if not this will effectively hinder your success so teamwork and communication is extremely vital.

This idea of teamwork and communication is vital most mission if you want to get the most reward out of it, which I personally find very challenging and fun if working with a good group.

The reward system is probably 50% of why I keep playing this game. At the end of every heist you get to pick a card out of three to get a random reward. The rewards are either Mask parts, Gun mods, exp or money. The randomness of said rewards is I think the best way for equipment progression. It is a better system than a step by step progression in my opinion, this is similar to Mass Effect 3 MP progression system. You can get really good mod for a random gun and it will help you try out different guns that you thought you wouldn't be ever interested in. It has almost that gambling reward effect that keep you coming back for more to get that particular item you want.

The class(RPGish) skill system is also well made as it focuses each class on a specific task and weapons, so a team of varying classes will work together in smooth systematic way.

Overall I think is very good game to me, and there are upcoming big updates that are all free in the foreseeable future to update the game to the PC version(new missions, guns, mods, mask, enemy types and difficulty).

Just finished "stick it to the man" and I really liked it. A bit short though :(.

Art style was a bit creepy, but the further I played, the more I liked it. It did showed off how much effort went in to the game.

All in all, thumbs up from me!

Only played 4 chapters I think but I love the art style. Really nice.

Gone back to playing Mercenary Kings, but with herself for coop. It's a lot better, the more time you give it, but it's seriously frustrating at times.

Very tempted by Red Alert. I wonder how it would play on the Vita, would you even be able to see the troops!

That's a really terrible sale compared to the flash sales the US is getting the last few months. They're really lagging over here on the sale front.

As a fan of point-and-click games I'm really enjoying Stick it to the Man! particularly the art style and humour. The only criticism I have is that I don't think the puzzles required enough thought until "Episode 7: Asylum Escape".

Trying to renew my PS+, but it seems like PSN doesn't accept debit cards. Is there any place online to buy the sub or PSN money? Can only find it for US or the UK.

You can use PayPal if that's any use to you.

As long as it's a visa debit it'll work.

Yeah it's a Visa debit, but it keeps saying my details are incorrect.

Never thought of Paypal, think I might have to go that route. Thanks!
