    Yakuza! I'll play that.

Retro/Grade was part of PS+ before years ago. Bit cheap of them to put it on again

I'll likely be busy with No Man's Sky but Yakuza 5 is one I will definitely play.

Have you played 4+ player Johann Sebastian Joust in a large open space? Because that's the way to experience Sportsfriends :)

Anyway, Yakuza 5 more than makes up for a mixed bag this month, if I ever find the time to play the damn thing :/

For 2 months there was a glimmer of hope that some decent games were finally coming for the Ps4...what a horrible reality check this month.

I havent no,most we got up to was 3 players due to there only being that many controllers. I do love couch co-op but the game just didnt resonate with me.

Yeah same here, it just reminds me another month has past so quickly:-(

At the start I used to be waiting for the announcement.

Don't bite the head off me, but do people actually subscribe to PS Plus for the free games? I'm a former Xbox owner so I'm used to paying to play online. Getting the odd decent game for free is a bonus, not to mention the discounts. I'm always amused by those that seem to be hanging in there each month in the hope that a AAA game will be announced.

I'm pretty much only there for the free games, Bloodborne is the only PS4 game I have and the online doesn't work for me.

I dunno, if I get a sweet little indie game that I wanted anyways then it saves me having to buy that on PC. Most months there's at least one game I'll play and enjoy, meaning it's worth the investment.

I know there's a difference but PS3 had games like red dead redemption, GTA Ballad of gay Tony (and the other bike one) and shadow of the colossus free with ps plus. I suppose a lot of people got used to top quality games every month so there's an unreal expectation of ps plus games for PS4.

The free games for PSN for PS4 have been dire so far this year bar Grim fandango, They really should do better as i will not be resubbing for the next term, ill play my bloodborne and souls games offline, thank you.

At what stage in the PS3's life cycle were those games released?

I can't remember specific dates, all I know is that they're on my ps3 and I didn't buy them. The ballad of gay Tony was one of the last big games I downloaded before the Ps4 was released so I'd say that was near the end of the ps3s life cycle.
Red dead redemption was free with ps plus 2 or 3 years before the Ps4 though, I'm certain of that.

Great Yakuza 5, looking forward to that.
Also Tricky Towers, Rebel Galaxy, Retrograde and Ultratron i will give a go.
Patapon doesnt do anything for me though, dont like the style.

    Tricky Towers, PS4

    Rebel Galaxy, PS4

    Yakuza 5, PS3

    Retro/Grade, PS3

    Patapon 3, PS Vita

    Ultratron, PS Vita, PS3, PS4

Is this the first time they've ever put a game on plus twice?

Games with Gold killing it again.

With the Warriors game? If PS4 got Spelunky and Beyond Good and Evil you'd have complaints about Indies and old games. 2k16 is absolutely crap.

That being said the PS4 games this month look fairly poor, and I'm normally lenient with my condemning of PS+

worst month of ps+ ever for ps4 owners. I mostly play offline so will probably not renew my ps+ next January. This months games looks like one of those free games on the google play store that you couldn't be bothered downloading.

    Still a hefty saving.

    Yakuza 5 €39.99
    Tricky Towers €14.99
    RetroGrade €9.99
    Rebel Galaxy €19.99
    Patapon 3 €7.99
    Ultratron €9.99

    Patapon 3 €7.99
    Ultratron €9.99

From that list, Yakuza 5 is the only one game that interested me prior to the PS+ addition but just never got around to fully pulling the trigger on it.

Most Plus games have been like that for me. Same with Games with Gold. I mean, they've got WWE 2K16. I'm not a wrestling fan by any stretch anymore but I played a ton of the old games. It's an addition that will make me download it to see what wrestling games are like these days but I wouldn't necessarily go out and buy it.

This month's list of games is poor. I like AAA games and I like hidden indie gems but having watched videos of the above games, there is nothing that interests me there.

I usually enjoy broadening my gaming horizons but I think it's fair criticism to say that this month's PS4 offerings are poor.

Am I maybe thinking too much into this but are Sony throwing out sub-par content so that people just buy No Man's Sky until September's offerings?
