Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Wednesday?

I'm really looking forward to this, seeing Park face up to his arch nemesis.

Will be well steamed at an outdoor venue in Seoul for this. If I'm sober enough pics of hot wimmin will follow the day after.

So you got a fetish for Asians?

I think Argentina will decimate SK. I don't think Korea have a hope of beating Argentina in an attacking kinda game.

No more than a narrow win for the Argies.

South Korea are 7/1 to win this!

With Veron it will be interesting to see who fills the other central midfield spot with Mascherano. Also, I thought Di Maria was very poor in the last game, never really got into it.

Messi to score a score a brace and set up Higuain with one. Read these lips. :p

2-1 to Argentina. Although I would gladly be wrong if we got a few more high scoring games after last night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

Come on South Korea! I would love to see them beat Argentina, but I would be happy with a draw. I don't think it matters too much who wins because the two teams that come out of Group A will be beatable

I was wondering how long it'd take.

One change from the team that beat Nigeria. Rodriguez starts ahead of Veron who is injured if I remember correctly.

    <3 Irwin

Ugh. Hate the commentator's emphasis on the ch whenever Mascherano gets on the ball.

    "It's MasCHerano"

I'd usually pronounce it as "Masher-ano"

Thinkin of turning down the sound, not because of the Vuvuzela but because of the stupid annoying commentary. I hate it when they come up with adjectives like 'maestro' and 'magician' everytime Messi gets the ball. It's like watching Barca on Sky Sports all over again. So far, everytime Messi has gotten the ball they've completely overrated what he's doing.

"It's Messi with a wonderful touch as he spreads the play very well like a man spreading butter beautifully on a slice of toast as he suffers through a hangover in the morning.

And his ears. Magical magical ears. It's almost like he can hear the football say, "use me Messi, use me" and obliges by magically passing a simple pass to his team mate who in turn gives it back to the wizard that is Messi. Almost like a plebian giving gifts to a rich lord."

They're doing it even when he loses the ball now

It's like listening to a load of girls giggling and whispering about the "hawt guy on campus".

"He he. OMG there he is. Messi. *giggles* He looks sooooooo amazing"

Great play from Tevez. Strong and managed a decent cross under pressure. I have him for top goalscorer but I can't see him scoring too many in the position he seems to play in.

Same here, now I see the reason behind those 40/1 odds.

Hope Park gets another goal and skins Heinze on the way.

    Can't stand Heinze.
